This Residential compound literally set the standard of residential
communities in Egypt. From its sidewalks, curbs and gutters, rain
drainage, street slopes, street lighting, landscape, ramps and so on. California
Standard codes were implemented, and Egyptians loved it.
Its 28 acres were divided into 39 houses and a clubhouse. Average lot
size is around 2000 m2. a
major avenue splitting to 4 cul-de-sacs.
Due
to the high-speed motorway facing the compound, the 400-meter fence was
designed with 2 different modules, the first spanning 12-meter and the
other 6-meter. Thus avoiding the annoying stroboscoping effect while
driving fast next to it. At the same time the difference breaks the boring
monotony of lengthy repetitive standard fence modules.
